Iran fired 300 missiles and drones on Israel on Saturday, April 13, most of which was intercepted. The unprecedented assault caused minor damage at the IDF base in Southern Israel. Several world leaders, including the EU, NATO and the G7, have condemned the Iranian attack, calling on Iran not to escalate the war. Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, requested that the United Nations Security Council condemns Iran's attack on Israel and designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization. The council held an emergency meeting on Sunday.
