Letter threatens to murder teacher in France

A French-Jewish teacher received an antisemitic death threat in a letter sent to the high school that employed him, reports The Jerusalem Post.

A French-Jewish teacher received an antisemitic death threat in a letter sent to Georges Brassens, the high school that employed him. „We’re going to give a Samuel Paty to him and his father, the old Zionist rabbi. We don’t want Jews in high schools; stay in your synagogues,” said the death threat.

The Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France (CRIF) published an image of the letter.

„The dirty Jew needs to stop being clever,” states the letter, adding, „We’re going to take care of [the teacher] when we leave high school.” The letter was reportedly sent to the teacher at the Georges Brassens high school in the Paris suburb of Évry-Courcouronnes.

Samuel Paty was a French teacher who was decapitated by an Islamist terrorist in a Paris suburb in 2020 after showing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad in a class on freedom of expression.
