Macron proposes international coalition against Hamas

French President Emmanuel Macron calls for an international coalition to fight Hamas.

French President Emmanuel Macron calls for the international coalition fighting the Islamic State to be extended to the Hamas terrorist organisation following the group’s October 7 attack on Israel, reports The Times of Israel.

After talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, Macron said that countries fighting ISIS “should also fight against Hamas.”

The French leader stressed that there must be a “decisive relaunch” of the Palestinian peace process following the Hamas atrocities and Israel’s declaration of war against the terror group.
