Soccer fans singing about killing Jews caught on camera in Belgium

Videos appeared on social media about soccer fans singing antisemitic chants in Antwerp, Belgium.

Belgian police investigates the antisemitic videos posten on social media about a bunch of soccer fans giving Nazi salutes while chanting about Hamas and gassing and burning Jews.

Most probably, the incident took place in or outside Café Stadion, a restaurant near the soccer stadium in Antwerp. The men chanted “My father was in the commandos, my mother was in the SS, together they burned Jews ’cause Jews burn the best,” as well as “Hamas, Jews to the gas” while making the Nazi salutes, reports The Jerusalem Post. They appear to be fans of the Beerschot soccer team of Antwerp.

Antisemitic soccer chants is a common occurrence in Europe, especially in the Netherlands and Belgium, mostly before matches between teams that fans of rival clubs label as “Jewish”. Nevertheless, in recent years, these incidents are increasingly happening outside of stadiums, including graduation party of high school sttudents in the Netherlands in 2016.
