UK Radical Islamist Suggests MP Was Murdered For Being Pro-Israel

Radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary suggests that Member of Parliament David Amess might have been attacked due to being pro-Israel.

UK lawmaker David Amess was stabbed to death on Friday. Radical Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary claims that the MP may have been attacked due to his stance on Israel. According to a Sunday report in the Jewish Chronicle, the 54-year-old cleric said he was unsure about Amess’ views but added he was rumoured to be pro-Israel. David Amess previously served as the honorary secretary of Conservative Friends of Israel.

“Many people do [believe] that [Israel] is a terrorist state, and who would possibly be a friend of Israel after you see the carnage that they carried out against Muslims in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and continue to do with the appropriation of properties,” Choudary said.

He reportedly stated that he does not condone violence; however, in the past, he often praised Muslim terrorists and terrorist attacks and called for the stoning of homosexuals, the assassination of the Pope and the prosecution of Queen Elizabeth for genocide.

In 2016, Choudary was sentenced to five and a half years of prison for inviting support for ISIS but was released in 2018.
