APF staff visited their Polish and Slovakian colleagues for short pieces of training on anti-semitism monitoring methodology. One of the most important criteria to be able to counter anti-Semitism is an adequate assessment of the prevalence of anti-Semitism. For this reason, APF monitors events and the press monthly, in line with professional standards. As a result of this monitoring activity, we present anti-Semitic manifestations in monthly reports, and we prepare annual reports after analysing the information acquired through our regular monthly monitoring activities.
Based on the newly published Best Practice Handbook, we discussed the various stages of preparing reports and the necessary human resources for all stages. APF continues to take the leadership of the V4 regional initiative and shall assist the partners in preparing the country reports in the first half of 2019.
